Blog # 1 Minor Surgery

I chose this advertisement because I think it’s very convincing, It’s about a group of friends that are having dinner at a restaurant and they usually drink alcohol. The woman with a big nose is talking to her friends and tells them that she can’t drink because she is having a surgery. The funny part is that one of them assumed that the surgery is for her nose. Her friend gives her all kids of advice regarding what changes she should make to her nose. When he stops talking, the woman tells him it wasn’t a surgery for her nose, but for her were her tonsils out.

I remember this advertisement because it’s very funny and embarrassing. And the message is that when embarrassing things happened to you, you want to forget them. To clean them and don’t leave any trace.

I think it is a good campaign, and the results can be achieved because everybody understands how that feels and it is easy to remember which is one of the goals. If people remember the product, they probably will buy it.
